Commencing in 2007, adidas Nations is the leading grassroots basketball program designed to emphasize and focus on adidas’ core belief that real success in the game of basketball comes from playing as a team. The world’s top players, 18 and under, will be selected to comprise eight regional teams from Africa, Asia Pacific, Canada, China, Europe, Latin America and the United States. Teams partake in regional training and educational activities that aim to provide insight on what it takes to make it to the next level in their basketball careers.
In 2007 Sixthman Sports needed a website for it’s biggest client, adidas basketball. LowGravity was ready to create a website for the newest member of the adidas family, adidas nations. Rounding up all of the world’s biggest high school basketball talent adidas nations became one of the leading programs for young players. The creation of the website from day one involved fast paced work and effective thinking.
The 2009 version of the website has been completely redesigned to correspond with the Nations new logo and creative ideas from adidas. Additionally a number of new features involving the player roster showcase and the streaming from twitter came onto the scene. With the new look and possibilities adidas nations entered it’s best year yet in 2009.
